Lots of NDS news and plans have been released on the "Nintendo DS Conference" at 5th Oct. Some of them like the sales of NDS have reached 3.6 million in Japan which points out NDS popularity has reached a quite satisfactory stage; In the coming Dec. 05 and Jan. 06, there will be quite a lot of creative and the most wanted game - Mario Kart will be released. But the most impressive plan is about the "Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection" plan. Through the plan will start only at Japan first, we believe it will be soon available at US and EUR countries after a few months.

The main idea of "Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection Service" is "Easy","Free" and "Secure" Wi-Fi online gaming against "rivals" or random players (national or international). Player can use the NDS Wi-Fi function together with the public access points to play 2P/battle games with othe NDS players online. The connection does not require any user registration and password.

The Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection Service will start at 29th Nov. 05 which is the same day of the first supporting game "Animal Crossing DS - Wild World (JPN)" released day. The 2nd support game is "Mario Kart DS(JPN)" which will be released on 8th Dec. 05.
