Two conferences in October give us a sneak peak.
September 29, 2004 - Fans of the upcoming Nintendo DS may be well aware of the recently announced special Nintendo DS conference on October 7th. During this event, Nintendo will be letting the press try several games. And while the company has yet to announce an official list of the titles making an appearance at the conference, expect Metroid Prime: Hunters and Mario 64x4. There's also a strong chance that Nintendo will show third party titles such as Urbz: Sims in the City.
Nintendo of Japan announced today that the Nintendo DS conference would be just one of three such events during the month of October. The other two, taking place October 13th and 14th, will cater toward the press and retailers. During these two days, Nintendo will showcase its Holiday line-up, including both hardware and software. As before, the DS will be available for hands-on testing.
GameCube titles Mario Party 6 and Donkey Kong Jungle Beat will make an appearance, as will Yoshi no Banyuuin Ryoko (Yoshi's Universal Gravitation) for the Game Boy Advance. Nintendo also announced it will show games in addition to those mentioned above, but has not officially released an specifics. Gamers and members of the press will both need to wait until the conference to see which games Nintendo plans on unveiling.
Stay tuned for more details.
