Oh, wow! And this is coming to the GameCube. I never called it kiddy in the first place, with it having the RE and other franchises. There's another one made by Capcom, too. Well, I guess the KIddyCube gets a makeover. And about durn time we get to see more than a couple of mature games that get old fast.

I think the problem is that people cant just play games because they are fun (the whole point isnt it?).. Take Mario Sunshine for example... An EXCELENT game in every aspect, but because it carries a name like "sunshine" and its a very colorfull and wholesome game, insecure male gamers wont touch it... and as a result Nintendo gets a kiddy label.. Nintendo licinced games are wholesome and family appropriate, but alot of the time the gameplay elements are much too advanced for a child to play... If you've ever been to japan you'd see that, that sort of colorfull and wholesomeness is generaly a part of japanese culture and has very LITTLE to do with children. Nintendo games are basicly just very "japanese"... Its a huge misconception...

Ah, so just because it has bright colors, doesn't mean it's kiddy, eh? Well, I've never gone into Japanese culture very far, so I'm not sure if that's a part of their life. But I'll take your word for it. I've always liked the Mario games, and although they have a cute aspect to them, it never got to the point where I shunned them. Sure, I beat Mario Sunshine in about 4-5 days, but I still like to play them. It's just fun, you don't have to be embarrased for playing them or not. Elmo's Number Game, on the other hand...
