Yes you can store games on your hard drive. I have an 80gb and it will hold about 25 games on average. The biggest I have heard anyone use is 160gb. It is definetly worth it to modify you xbox.

Can you tell me how to do the mod? This is the hard drive I bought (on the recommendation of a friend): Western Digital Caviar WD1200BB 120GB Ultra ATA/100 7200RPM Hard Drive

there is more to it than just putting in the HD, it usually requires a mod chip as well... Because the xbox needs to be told to boot from the HD.. Otherwise you just have a massive version of the same HD MS includes in the xbox..

How can you add Nintendo games on to the Xbox. Can you use a disk?

you would load the rom files onto the hard drive and there is an emulator that would run them. If you dont know anything about that, dont even bother modding your xbox, you'll be totaly lost..

Careful with maodding your X-box though if you play x-box live. If your modchip is activated while you are playing, they xbox live people will exterminate your account. Also with installing the harddrives and chips..you might want to have it done by someone who knows exatly what they are doing because it requires welding and if you mess out....there goes your x-box. Also, has anyone heard about these mods that you can add to the physical appearance of your x-box? Things like clear covers with mulitcolored LCD lights. Those things are pretty sweet. I want to see if they can take one of those things that has the electricity charges in one flat surface and when you touch it the electricity focuses on your finger, and put it as like a cover. Or maybe even a blacklight inside would be cool. Anyone else have any ideas of cool things that you might want to have done to your x-box?
